When and how to eat fruit

Posted on April 22, 2014 by in Benefits of fruit

juicesI have spoken a few fruits, it’s time to explain when and how to eat these foods.

For starters, the fruit is the food that is more easily (20-30 minutes), bananas, dried fruits and dates if you need more time ( 45min - 1hr ) digested, due to its high water content (80 % -90 %). This means that if we eat fruit for dessert, very common, are preventing this pass directly from the stomach into the intestine, because of the other foods if they need their long digestive process. Meanwhile, the whole meal rots, ferments and acidifies.

This prevents proper absorption of nutrients that provide fruits and in some cases, heartburn and upset stomach.

As I said, the fruit should be eaten alone, if we eat other food, we have to wait 2 to 4 hours before eating fruit. It may sound crazy, but a large meal requires hours of digestion.

Another important thing, digestion is a process that consumes calories (energy), that said, a good time would be to eat fruit in the morning. As fruit needs not only digestion, needs little energy, and what interests breakfast and lunch is to give us energy for the day, right? For if we make a very filling meal without fruit, the body for part of the morning will be using some of the energy that you need to digest these foods. It seems logical.

That said, several points summarize the essentials:

You have to eat fruit, contains many essential nutrients for a healthy life.
The fruit needs little digestion, and leaves no toxic residue.
You have to eat fruit alone, otherwise we will have stomach problems, poor digestion and assimilation of nutrients wrong.
An ideal time to eat fruit is in the morning.
A bad time to eat fruit is after another meal and evening.
