Parents smoking habits imitated children

A recent study has revealed another reason for people to stop smoking, because that has to do with the health of your children and this vice is that it can be passed from parents to children.

The study examined the smoking habits within families and the data were obtained from the survey of the British Household Panel, this study was related to the spread of smoking habits from generation to generation.

In households where both parents smoke, the child has a 24% chance of being a smoker. But if at home parent does not smoke, the risk drops to about 12%.

In the daughters, the percentage situation is different, there is a 23% propbailidad that they take the service if both parents smoke, but this is reduced to 12% when neither parent smokes.

Children tend to imitate the parents’ respective genres, in other words, children tend to imitate the parents and girls tend to imitate moms. It is clear that smoking is not a habit you want to see in your child. So, take the decision (if you smoke) to kick the habit, because first you are attacking your own health and second remember that you are an example for a child who is just beginning to see life, you’re the kind of hero or heroine for your child, so that the image of a smoking parent is not the most appropriate.
