Although years ago it was the men who filled the halls more sports centers, gyms today are filled with women who want to look after your health and your figure.
However, there is still a lack of information and a lot of confusion that makes many of us believe in some false myths that have been created on some practices and their impact on women.
These are some of the most common:
1. It is true that the weights do take much more physical volume leaving women look too masculine, for indeed our muscle mass does not allow our muscles to grow in this way. However, it does serve to improve strength, muscle tone, posture and burn some calories.
2. Running is the best for losing weight: It is not entirely true, because despite that aerobic exercise is essential to burn calories also be combined with strength and toning exercises to maintain muscle mass. The machines, weights or some activities like yoga or pilates are good for this.
3. It is true that the weight may increase after exercise during the first weeks, but is due to activation and muscle gain to suit the circumstances. In fact, it may not adelgaces in pounds and yes they do in sizes.
4. According to experts abdominal fat, buttocks or legs (among others) can not be removed directly by localized exercises, but generally disappears with exercise. These exercises, however, did serve to combat sagging.
5. The vibration platforms do not replace the exercise and make you lose weight without any effort, but can only be used as a tool to complement the exercise you should do regularly. Also misused can harm the physical health of people.
