    Fruits and vegetables are important sources of vitamins and other bioactive compounds in diet and consumption of 5 or more servings of fruits and vegetables a day is widely recommended because it is associated with a reduced risk of chronic diseases.

    What many seem to be too much or almost impossible, but not if we think of the various ways we have to eat these foods, such as juices, salads, or eat them as a snack.
    Besides providing excellent nutrients our bodies, eating them helps to reduce the risk of diseases, among other things.
